Job Description

As a QA Engineer (Manual), you will ensure the reliability and performance of web-based applications by executing thorough manual testing, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers to deliver stable, user-focused software in an Agile environment.

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Day Shift (EST 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM), Weekends Off
Work setup: Onsite – Connecta 26, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in web application QA
  • Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including cross-browser and cross-device testing, Agile workflows, and defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Slack and Google Meet
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Your Daily Tasks

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with the development team
  • Verify fixes and perform validation testing prior to deployment
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with developers and automation engineers in an Agile environment
